Chapter 21
Written by Marya, Anonymous, Anonymous
The kids were found out
Someone had told Atticus that they haven’t been home
So they were sent home
Not knowing if Tom was guilty
But after they ate their supper and one of them fell asleep
They went back to the courthouse.
But when they got there all the black people
Were standing in disbelief
Tom Robinson had been called guilty as charged.
Atticus walks out with shame as all the black people stared.

Everyone in the family is sad
That Tom Robinson is guilty and going to jail
But Atticus feels he did not fail.
Tom Robinson is stuck in jail and is very scared
He knows he doesn't deserve any of this
Tom feels like he is in a deep dark abyss.
As the children are at Miss Maudies house
They are in disbelief that Tom is gone
They think the Ewells are the worst people in the world
But after all they want Tom back.
That Tom Robinson is guilty and going to jail
But Atticus feels he did not fail.

But after all they want Tom back.
Chapter 23

Bob Ewell wanted revenge
Atticus knew he would avenge
If Tom is guilty
He'll be filthy.
Tom might get the chair
Sadly he'll miss the air
Ewells are whack
For hating blacks.
The Cunningham's despise
The Ewells disguise.
Atticus knew he would avenge
If Tom is guilty
He'll be filthy.
Tom might get the chair
Sadly he'll miss the air
Ewells are whack
For hating blacks.
The Cunningham's despise
The Ewells disguise.
Chapter 24

Aunt Alexandra invites her clan
Scout helps bring tea
They talk about poor Mrunas
And about the bad behavior of their black slaves
Atticus told Scout, Alexandra, and Cal
That Tom tried to escape
But got shot seventeen times
Atticus and Cal go to break the news to the Robinsons
The town trusts Atticus to do right
They go back to the missionary circle
As if nothing happened
Scout helps bring tea
